Abstract

The fish cultivation business carried out by the fish cultivation group in Pasir Halang Village, Sukaraja Sukabumi has prospects for development because demand for fish tends to increase. On the other hand, there are obstacles in the business development efforts carried out by fish groups, namely business management, group management and development strategies have not been carried out well.  To overcome this problem, business management and group management training was carried out as well as the formulation of alternative strategies for developing fish farming businesses. With business management and group management training, group administrators and members have the knowledge and motivation to improve business performance and group performance in order to develop fish farming businesses carried out by fish groups. The results of the SWOT analysis show that based on strategic factors in the form of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, six alternative strategies were obtained that can be applied to develop fish farming businesses in fish groups, namely increasing production through intensive fish farming, improving management of fish farming businesses, increasing fish group capital, sustainable alternative feed production, use of quality fish seeds, and improving the performance of fish groups.
